Hello, my name is Amadou, and I am from The Gambia. Recently, I lost my beloved mother, and it has been the most painful experience of my life. She was my strength, my guide, and the heart of our family.

I lost my father as well some years ago and now all of my little siblings and I are orphans. I am the oldest boy, now the sole provider for my siblings at the age of 18. There are many nights we go to bed hungry and we have been so financially stressed that I dropped out of school to do everything I can to feed the little ones.

Even through all of the misfortune, I know that God is good and one day I will make it out.

I am humbly asking for your support to help cover the funeral and related expenses. Even a small contribution would mean so much and help me give her the dignity she deserves in her final rest.

Right now as I write this I am uncertain if we will be able to cover the cost of recovering her body from the hospital.
