My name is Amado Mar Borges Soto, and I am currently in urgent need of funding for my upcoming gender-affirming top surgery. This will be a vital life-changing procedure and last major milestone in my gender transition as a Transgender man. I am in need of a total of $15,000, part of that being a $3,000 deposit I need by the end of March 2026. Since I am low-income and without insurance coverage, I cannot pay for this amount on my own. Getting this surgery is everything to me, and will allow me to finally embody who I am.

A little more about me and my journey. I am a queer Latino Indigenous Trans man, and I am 24 years old. I'm an artist and also currently work part-time as a barista. I originally came out as trans in my late teens but was struggling a lot with mental health at the time, so couldn't fully achieve my transition goals. 4 years ago, when I was 20, I officially started my transition on Testosterone. For these 4 years, I have been wanting top surgery as well but have not been in the environment to do so until recent times. Now, I am where I need to be in life, and my surgery planning is in the works. However, I need all the help I can get to achieve my financial goals!
