Amadi Clark has been a Material Handler for Ryder in Wilmington, IL for 3 years. He is a dedicated employee who has been one of the top performers for the site, has trained many new employees, and has led by example to all of his coworkers.

On November 2nd, 2025, Amadi Clark’s life was turned upside down when a house fire left him critically injured. He was rushed to Loyola University Medical Center’s Burn Unit, where he underwent multiple surgeries and spent several weeks in the ICU fighting for his life. In addition, the damage from the fire has destroyed his home.

Amadi is someone who always gives his best at work. Now, he faces an unimaginable challenge—recovering from severe injuries while also coping with the loss of his home and belongings. The road ahead will be long and difficult. Amadi will need ongoing medical care, rehabilitation, and support to rebuild his life.
