On Saturday December 22nd 2018, our good friend Alyssa had to unexpectedly say goodbye to her 5-month old miniature Australian Shepherd puppy named Atlas. Atlas was a happy and energetic puppy, wagging his tail at everyone that would come close to say hello.  

Out of the blue on Friday night, he started to have seizures so Alyssa brought him to the Alta Vista Animal Hospital where the they sedated him and gave him anti-seizure medication. When they tried to take Atlas off sedation, he had another seizure. The vet said there would likely be long term effects from the seizures and that little Atlas might never wake up. On Saturday night, Alyssa had to make the very tough decision to say goodbye to Atlas.

Atlas was at the hospital for roughly 24 hours and the veterinary bills quickly piled up to a total of around $4,000.

Myself, along with Pam Green, are organizing this gofundme campaign to raise funds to help Alyssa as much as possible with these unexpected vet bills during this tough time.
