At just 25 years old, my best friend Alyssa was diagnosed with breast cancer. She’s now 26, and still fighting with everything she has.
In October 2024, Alyssa had to leave work as treatment completely took over her life. Since then, she’s endured six rounds of intense chemotherapy. Losing her hair, her strength, and many of the everyday freedoms we take for granted. Yet through it all, she still finds a way to laugh and make everyone around her smile.
Before starting treatment, Alyssa faced one of the hardest decisions of her life, fertility preservation. At only 26, she had to think about her ability to have children in the future. She went through the process bravely giving herself a chance at the life she deserves after cancer.
In April 2025, she underwent a double mastectomy with reconstruction expanders. Recovery has been long and painful, and she still faces 10 more rounds of chemotherapy and another major surgery later this year.
Being out of work for nearly a year has made the financial burden overwhelming with medical bills, fertility costs, travel to appointments, surgery expenses, and everyday living piling up. Alyssa has always been strong, hardworking and independent, but she needs our help now.
If you know Alyssa, you know she lights up every room. She’s creative, caring, and strong willed, even in the darkest moments. Please consider donating or sharing her story to help relieve some of her financial stress as she continues her fight.
Every contribution goes directly toward Alyssa’s treatment, recovery, and rebuilding her life after cancer.
Thank you, your love and support mean the world to Alyssa and everyone who loves her
