Life has a way of testing the strongest souls, and my dear friend Alyssa Geho is one of the strongest people I know. At just 15 years old, Alyssa was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer that nearly took her life. But she fought—hard. She endured, she survived, and for almost 20 years, she remained in remission.

But sometimes, life is unfair.

Just a week ago, Alyssa received the devastating news that her cancer is back. At 35 years old, she now faces the same grueling battle once more. This time, however, radiation is off the table—her doctors say she had too much as a child, leaving chemotherapy as her only option.
