After a young woman swallows a man whole, she enters a journey of self-discovery to confront her inner self.
My name is Alyssa Coffey, and I am a junior in the undergraduate Film & Television program at NYU Tisch School of the Arts. My short film ROOM TO STAND explores themes of sense of self and the balance between inner-feminine and inner-masculine. There are elements of arthouse horror, body horror, drama, and dance.
This project is very special to me as it is the biggest-scale film I have made yet, and I need YOUR help for my production to turn from a dream into REALITY! Your funds go to food & catering services for my cast and crew, props and wardrobe, and payments for renting location venues.
If you contribute a donation that is worth $500 or more, you will be the role of EXECUTIVE PRODUCER in our end credits of the film!
Each donation made, no matter the amount, means that you believe in the life of this film, in art, and in my capabilities as a director. This support means so, so much.

From the bottom of my heart,
THANK YOU!
