Help Alyssa Attend Prestigious Medical Forum

Hi! My name is Alyssa Hughes. I am a sophomore in high school with a dedicated interest in the medical field. I have been invited to attend the National Youth Leadership Forum: Medicine & Health Care at Rice University this summer. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for me to get "experiences similar to those of undergraduate students, residents, and physicians." I will also have the opportunity to earn a college credit through George Mason University.

I will interact with and have support from "some of the most well-regarded and prominent leaders, educators, and physicians in the medical field community." The curriculum is reviewed by subject matter experts, and we will learn to suture, take blood pressure, perform comprehensive neurological exams, and much more.
