Last night at 2am I noticed my Door dash driver, Alyssa, was not moving on the map. I asked if everything was okay, and she informed me she was stopped to change her youngest son, who soiled himself. When Alyssa arrived with my order, I discovered that she was currently pregnant, with her family in the car in a rental and they’re currently facing eviction, and have been struggling with keeping up on rent and bills since they moved into their home. Alyssa also informed me she lacks recourses with childcare and family support. Alyssa runs a small business that caters to individuals with disabilities, but has little funds or time to keep it running and fulfilling orders.

It takes a village, so I’m asking you donate- even if it’s a small amount. I would love for us to help Alyssa get back on her feet so she can live comfortably with her family, pursue her business, and get back on track with her bills so she doesn’t have to work at unsafe hours during her pregnancy.
