I cannot believe I have to do this. Legislation in Florida has quickly made it impossible to stay in the state. DeSantis and his fascist regime has relentlessly attacked trans people, and if passed, I will soon no longer have healthcare for my meds, will no longer be allowed to use the restroom without the threat of being told to leave it be arrested, risk my children being removed simply for being trans, and nearly encouraged ridicule, bullying and dehumanization of trans people. Im an advocate of this community, now and always. But I cannot continue to put my family through this, nor can I be a strong activist with my safety under constant threat. We need to leave. As soon as possible. We are aiming to leave and relocate to Colorado before the end of the year, but there’s no way we can without some financial help. So here I am, pouring my heart out to you again, asking for ANYTHING you can contribute to help us achieve this goal. I waited my entire life to be authentically happy, and I am. This community helped me do that, and I’m forever grateful for that. But I need you just one last time, so I can continue to safely do this work and keep my family intact. Thank you so much.
