Help Alyson fight stage 4 cancer!

Donation protected
Hi all!

Thank you for visiting Alyson’s gofundme page.

We have created this page to help my future sister-in-law, Alyson Connolly-Randazzo in her fight to live.

In February 2018, Alyson, who just recently gave birth to a beautiful baby girl named Isabella, was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer that had metastasised to her liver.  At just 30 years old, with a 7 week old and during one of the happiest times in her life, she was hit with a hard reality; she had cancer.

Alyson and her family new they didn’t have any time to spare and treatment began almost immediately. Without any treatment, Alyson had been given only 4 months. Everyone who knows Aly, knows she’s a fighter and that timeline doesn’t work for her! She wants and needs to be here for her daughter and fiancé, not just for a few months but for as my years as she can.

Aly is only just on her 4th treatment and battling a long painful road.  One of which makes it difficult to leave the house or even get out of bed at times.  She nor her family know what is in store from one day to the next, they just know they have to fight with her and for her.  She has been told her liver has responded and her numbers have come down and will hopefully continue to drop but the status of the tumor in the colon will only be determined after 2 more treatments.

The current plan is to do more testing and reevaluate Aly’s cancer after 6 treatments. Each treatment runs for 2 days, followed by a trip for a shot to help with her bone marrow the day after the treatment ends. Treatments are currently biweekly.  Surgery isn’t an option at this point.

Being at the beginning of a very long journey, Aly, her baby girl and her fiancé/husband can use all the prayers, support and donations that others may be able to offer. They don’t know exactly how much all the treatments will cost or what will happen after Aly’s re-evaluation but Aly will never stop fighting, no matter the cost.

We are all praying for good news and hopefully remission. In the mean time, we will continue provide updates on Aly’s health, treatment and thoughts.

Isabella needs her mom and Chris needs his future wife.

Please donate what you can, every penny will be going towards Aly’s treatment/bills.

Alyson and her family thank everyone for the amazing moral support they have already received.
