Hello, I'm Michael (aka Mal) and I'm raising money for my mother Alyson Cook, her partner, and cats who lost their home due to the Eaton Fires in Altadena. Thankfully, she and her partner were able to evacuate safely with their cats, but had to leave most things behind, losing them to the fires.

My mother was so connected to her community in Altadena—friends, neighbors, events, fundraisers—and often gave back through her business, The Altadena Pie Lady, which she ran from her home. Her spirit is as strong as ever, despite her heartbreaking circumstances, but now she needs help in order to heal from this major upheaval.
