- Hi, my name is Alysia, and I am going through a temporary hardship at the moment.As strong as I try to keep myself up mentally, I broke down and lost my complete self, which was affecting my work performance. My job forced me onto a leave, but since I haven’t been with the company a complete 12 months, which would be in January of 2025, I wasn’t qualified for a leave with pay. I return back to work on the 2nd of December, but I am needing to keep a roof over my son’s head in order to do so. Christmas is right around the corner and being out in the cold is not an option for me. I go above and beyond for that little boy in the picture by myself. Asking specific people for help results in being put down and talked about, even though I’ve gotten everything I have on my own. People go through things, and as prideful as I usually am, I’m coming to you guys humbly to ask for a little help. I know it’s around the holidays and people are limited, but anything helps.
