A couple of years ago, my life changed dramatically after a serious incident that forced me to stop working. While I am deeply grateful that God saved my life that day, the aftermath left me searching for my purpose and struggling to find my footing. Recently, a simple favor for my cousin led me to reconnect with my aunt, whom I hadn’t seen in years. I was shocked to see how much her health had declined and realized she needed full-time care. As I began helping her, I quickly understood how much I needed to learn to truly support her—and how many other elders might be in similar situations, unaware of the help available to them. This experience opened my eyes to the urgent need for advocates for our elders, and I felt a calling to be that someone who can make a difference.

To answer this calling, I want to go back to school for nursing, starting with a CNA certification and building from there. The funds I’m raising will go directly toward tuition, uniforms, nursing shoes, materials, books, background check fees, and examination fees—everything required by the school. Your support will help me take the first steps toward my CNA schooling and my goal of helping others in need, especially those who may not have anyone else to advocate for them.

Never in my wildest dreams did I ever think I’d be on here asking for help to reach any goal—it’s very humbling, that’s for sure. However, this is just that important to me, and I believe God will make a way where there seems to be no way, for nothing is impossible with Christ Jesus.
