Over the past five years, I have worked as a pediatric behavior technician. While it has been incredibly rewarding, I realized I was pouring so much into my kiddos that I had nothing left for myself.

Knowing it was time for a change, I began searching for a new path—only to realize that standard corporate alternatives would likely lead me right back down the same burnout rabbit hole. That is the beautiful, exhausting nature of having a heart for service: we constantly prioritize the needs of our patients, clients, and families above our own.

But who is there to remind us to prioritize ourselves? Who acts as the bright spot in our day, providing relief from the chaos? Who steps in when we start pouring from our core because we’ve completely run out of overflow? Who fills us back up?

My goal is to create a community where women of color can release, refresh, and renew. We were never meant to carry it all alone; it was always designed to be a collective effort to support and uplift one another.
