- Hi my name is Shelly Adams and I need HELP PLEASE!!! For my daughter Alycia Kellogg as she is battling stage 3 locally advanced cancer at only 37 years old. She and i were blown out of the water and no more prepared for this than anything. So she really needs our help. Most of you have known me most of if not all my life and I need help saving my daughters life. Life has a way of punching us in the gut at times, but this is a hard diagnosis for anyone to bare especially at 37 years old. So let me tell you a little about her if you don't know her very well. She started out over 15 years ago at the colt restaurant and casino, where she started as a server then a cook and now she is and has been managing the restaurant and then decided she would take a promotion to casino manager as well, which she successfully still manages. I have seen her work. I have known many people with strong work ethic but I honestly can say I've never seen anyone work as hard as does. With countless days even months with no days off and when she is off she works the majority of those days too. Nobody deserves to ever go through this but we all know cancer does not care who it is or how many people's lives are effected. We live in a small rural area called Battle Mountain here in Nevada, and are limited for care. For over 5 months she has been being treated for an infection and after the 7th ct they found the mass. She already has more hospital bills she cannot pay. She also has a daughter (aka) our Haley K. She is a straight A student and needs to stay in Battle Mountain as she will be starting her nursing program. Alycia is going to St Luke's cancer institute in Boise and St Luke's oncology in Nampa Idaho. With radiation and chemotherapy then surgery it will be a long road. We live 9 hours round trip for her/me but this is to help her pay for things she needs to sustain her and Haleys life, daily living with now no insurance, medical bills, and imaging and medicine, radiation and chemo therapy and surgery. So Please I have never asked for anyone's help in my life, but I am asking now PLEASE DONATE. Help me save her life. I can not imagine life without my baby. So with this feel free to message me or her progress or setbacks. And also I will update to as she goes through this Journey. So please no amout is to small or to big.
