Help Alycia Autumn Beat Cancer
Donation protected
Help Alycia fight Stage II Breast Cancer In early September my sister Alycia Autumn, 42 years old was diagnosed with Stage 2 breast cancer which had spread to her lymph glands. After being referred to Stanford Cancer Center South Bay where she now has a treatment program. Alycia will have chemotherapy first followed by radiation therapy. After that, we’ll see what the doctors say.
Yoga Teacher Alycia practices and teaches Therapuetic Healing Yoga and Hot Yoga at the Yoga 9 studio she opened in Boulder Creek Ca in January 2017. Boulder Creek is a small remote community of 5000 people in the beautiful Santa Cruz mountains. Alycia chose this community as an ideal place to raise her children Zephyr 10 and Awren 6.
Alycia is so grateful to have medical insurance but her studio will have to be run by the donated goodness of fellow yoga teachers to help keep the doors open. She hopes to work but she knows that work may be difficult if not impossible especially with two small children at home.
The funds will be used to cover expenses not covered by insurance, the lost days of work, childcare and transportation to Stanford. Any amount will be appreciated and will go a long way to keep Alycia comfortable and allow her stress free time to enjoy with her children between treatments.
My name is Nya Chambers and I have set up an account to have all funds go directly to her. She is my only sister and has been such a strength to me and my boys when their Dad died suddenly. Making this time peaceful and stress free for her and her children is what I hope we can do. The Yoga community is a large and loving community. I know we can come together to show our love for Alycia and kick this cancer out of her life.
As Alycia goes through this process starting with Chemotherapy, i will post updates as to how she and her children are doing.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read this and helping this special family.
