Alwyn Robinson: New Album

Hello Everyone!

My name is Alwyn Robinson, and I am a drummer/composer/vocalist based in Brooklyn, NY. Some of you may know me as the drummer of Leftover Salmon, whom I've had the honor of touring with for the past 8 years. Alongside Leftover, I also have been working on my own solo project. Last year I released my first album entitled "Bluebonnet", which was a dedication to my dear friend Barney Canson. The release of that album led to me working with bands & brands such as Lake Street Dive, Olivia Wilde, TAFT Boot Company, Ralph Lauren, and The Brooklyn Circus. These opportunities have inspired me to continue creating new work, which I will be recording starting in March. This is where your help comes in.

I'm looking to raise $20,000 to complete this project. The process of recording an album requires many different steps and people. Funds raised will go towards:

- Studio space rental
- Musician pay
- Sound engineer & producer
- Mixing & mastering
- Marketing & promotion
- Pressing of album (CDs, vinyl)

This year has been such a difficult time for so many people, especially working artists. Without touring, recording sessions, and local gigs, it has been very uncertain and scary as to where financial stability will come from. I am thankful to put that energy into creating this new work.
