For those who know Alvin, you know him as a teacher, Christian family man, happy, and fun who has impacted every community he has been a part of. For the past year, he has dealt with some unfortunate health issues - cancer, weak heart, and imbalance from medications. He has been in hospitals and now nursing homes for the past couple months and so his care has greatly increased which leaves Marcia left with a lot to deal with financially.

Our dad has always been a fighter and he has been a part of many communities and been part of many people's lives through the church and as an educator, working well through his 70s to make ends meet, and, honestly, because he loved to work.
