Four months ago, I tore my patella tendon, and life has been a challenge ever since. With five kids depending on me, every day has been a test of strength and resilience. The injury has made it difficult to work and keep up with the bills, and I worry about how I can continue to provide for my family.

On top of my own recovery, my son has a brain disorder that requires extra care and attention. This adds another layer of worry and responsibility, and it’s been hard to manage everything at once. The financial strain has been overwhelming. Medicaid, rent, and everyday expenses keep piling up, and I’m doing my best to stay afloat. My daughter is graduating this year, and it breaks my heart that I can’t support her the way I want to during such an important milestone.
