Help Alvin live a full life even without limbs

Hi, meet Alvin King. I recently did...... when he was struggling going down the road, trying to balance a suitcase on his lap on his way to the social services office. He was alone and homeless. That was Oct 13, 2021. Since stopping to help him that day, I’ve become Alvin’s advocate and friend and have connected with some extraordinary people who have become his support group, helped him get an apartment, Medicaid services, and funds and supplies to help with short-term needs.
Now we are on a quest to help support Alvin long term with funds for education, supplemental occupational and physical therapy, mental health counseling and maybe even a prosthetic - all to help with even the smallest increase in “independence”. These funds are being placed in a Special Needs Trust for Alvin that has been set up graciously by a pro bono attorney with FISKE LAW GROUP in Alexandria, VA who will also be the acting trustee for his account.
He was born without arms or legs and does not have family to help. We're hoping this exposure continues to grow an even larger community for him.
