Hello, my name is Rosalinda, and I’m asking for help to save a very special little dog named Alvin ❤️ He was relinquished to me on Monday (12/1/25) when his owner, no longer able to care for him due to full hind limb paralysis and loss of bladder control from IVDD, was preparing to have him euthanized. I couldn’t let that happen. Alvin is only 5 years old, full of life and has so much love left to give. He deserved a chance. Today, Alvin had a neurology consult and the specialist confirmed that he urgently needs a Hemilaminectomy, a spinal surgery that could save his mobility and his life. Every single day matters; delaying treatment significantly reduces his chances of recovery. Even working in the veterinary field, my discount barely makes a dent in the cost. Between the surgery and hospitalization, the total could reach $10,000 — far more than I can afford on my own, but absolutely worth it for a dog who is fighting so hard to stay here. Alvin is the sweetest, most dedicated little boy. Despite everything he’s gone through, he drags himself everywhere (with assistance) and he still leans in for affection. He wants to live.
