For the past three years, my family and I have faced many challenges. My fiancé is three years sober, but before that, we were homeless and struggling with stress and addiction. We found refuge at my dad's house, where my fiancé connected deeply with my brother and got help. He also reunited with his father after seven years of separation, which was a big moment for him. Recently, my dad began losing his vision and now wants us to move out. On top of this, I am eight weeks pregnant with twins, and my fiancé is struggling with seizures and PTSD. The stress of everything is making things even harder for him.
We had been saving for our children and a new home, but a few days ago, my fiancé's ex-stepmother came after me with a knife and stole everything we had. The police in New Haven, Indiana, only took a report, and we're hurting because of it. My fiancé has had five seizures in the past two days due to the stress. If anyone is willing to help us raise funding for housing and medical care, we would be so grateful—not just for me, but for my fiancé and our family.
The funds will go toward securing safe housing, covering moving costs, and getting medical care for my fiancé's seizures and for the birth of our twins, who are expected to arrive in November 2026. Any support means the world to us as we try to build a safe and stable future for our growing family.
