Help Alvaro and Marco's Mobile Pizzeria Launch

Hello friends! We are thrilled to announce that we are taking the first steps in launching our own business. For those of you who don’t know us, our names are Alvaro Lopez and Marco Angeles, and we have been working in the food industry for 10+ years. Most recently, we were both chefs at Bianco Pizzeria, and have also worked at other restaurants including Tartine Manufactory, Bub & Grandma’s, Lupetti Pizzeria, Delfina Pizzeria, Broken Spanish, and Estraño Things, to name a few. We are both very passionate and determined individuals who have worked hard to recognize ourselves as chefs in the LA area. 

 

Fairly recently, we have also both become dads (Marco has a son named Dominic and Alvaro, a son named Arlo) and are more motivated than ever to create something of our own. We feel like now is the perfect time to take these exciting (yet scary!) new steps in our career!

 

We are asking for funds to help support this venture.  

 

We plan to sell wood fire pizzas everywhere and anywhere. We like the freedom that a mobile pizza oven will provide us, and we will not (at least initially) have to burden ourselves with the expense of renting a venue.

 

All funds received from this campaign will go towards purchasing a mobile wood fired pizza oven (coming straight from Baja), insurance fees, licensing fees, DBA, WBA, and LLC. 

 

Now, we finally get to use our talents and skills to pursue our passion after working with and being inspired by so many great chefs throughout our years in the industry. Our mission and primary goal is to make our food accessible to everyone. My mother always said that no one should ever have to worry about not being able to afford a meal. We want our food to bring happiness, create nostalgia, and create a multi-generational following. We want people to come back and say ‘remember when our grandfather used to bring us here, he loved ordering ….’

 

Especially now that we’re both fathers, we recognize that there is nothing more important than spending time with family.
