Althea, Kyle’s three-year-old cane Corso, is a beloved member of the family. Yesterday, she managed to get the kitchen door open and, in a heartbreaking moment, ran out of the house and was immediately hit by a car. She was rushed to two emergency vets, where it was determined overnight that she has multiple fractures in her hind leg. The only way for Althea to survive her injury is to undergo surgery as soon as possible.
Kyle is a single parent who recently re-entered the workforce and is working hard to get back on his feet. The unexpected cost of Althea’s emergency care and surgery is overwhelming, and he needs all the support he can get to sustain Althea’s life. Every donation will go directly toward covering the cost of her surgery and giving her the chance to recover and return home where she belongs.
Even the tiniest donations are greatly appreciated, and please share this fundraiser with others if you can. Your kindness and support mean the world to Kyle and Althea during this difficult time. Thank you for helping them through this crisis.
