Hi, my name is Rosol Aljanabi. I’m an Australian Emergency Physician. I’m trying to help my childhood friend’s family and her sister’s family get out of Gaza.

This is a fundraiser for Alsalhi sisters.

I went to high school with Hadeel Alsalhi and her sister Naseem Alsalhi. Their father moved back to Gaza to be with his parents and build a family business.

This is Hadeel’s story:

My name is Hadeel. I have a diploma in English literature. I’m married to Mohammed and we have 3 kids (Basim 15, Ayman 12 and Joud 7).

My sister’s name is Naseem. She has a diploma in Psychology. She’s married to Mohammed and they have 5 kids (Besan 17, Layan 16, Mayar 10, Osama 7 and Sanad is 3 months old).

Both of us have lost our homes. We’ve moved 4 times so far with our children. We’re struggling to get clean water to stay hydrated. My sister had a very difficult labour. She delivered at the hospital on the floor as no beds available to accommodate healthy giving birth woman. She couldn’t keep her milk supply due to long periods of fasting and dehydration.

We were hanging in there and hoping to rebuild our homes once the war stops. Our family business building was bombed down to the ground few days ago. This was the last straw. We’ve lost everything. We have no home, no work, no business and no way of staying safe. We lost all hope. We’re still alive. We’re at risk every single day but we’ve been blessed so far. I reached out to my old friend Rosol to help our family of 12 get out to safety. We’ve spent all our savings trying to relocate to safety over the last 6 months and buying food, water and milk.

Can you please help Hadeel and Naseem evacuate their families to Egypt. They need 40000 USD (60000 AUD) just to pay for the costs of evacuation.

Every kid under the age of 15 costs 2500 USD
