Help Alonys Secure Reliable Transportation

My name is Alonys Josephine McClary, I’m 25, living in Lakewood, CO, working in construction as a carpenter’s apprentice/field engineer, and attending industry training.
On September 27, 2020, I was in a car accident on I-70 W, just down the hill from the Eisenhower/Johnson tunnel. This hill is notoriously dangerous, well-known for its steep grades, sharp turns, and subpar road conditions.
A mile or few ahead of me, a couple of gentlemen had hit a bump in the road going 100 mph, lost control of their vehicle, and flipped. A first wave of emergency responders arrived on scene and awaited support. They needed more bodies / equipment to move inoperable vehicles / flag oncoming traffic. I saw firefighters on the median waving, signaling stop. I slammed on my breaks and just as soon as I stopped, a car smashed into my rear end.
All parties walked away, thank goodness. I’m convinced everyone was alright because the accident happened on my Nana Jo’s birthday, protected by her good energy.
It's been a good while since the accident, and I’m incurring unmanageable financial expenses while waiting for insurance to settle. I’m not sure how I’m going to obtain a vehicle AND cover my regular living expenses in the upcoming weeks.
My good friend suggested I compose this campaign by asking, “If each of your friends donated five dollars, which is a coffee, wouldn’t that make such a big difference?” and I couldn’t argue.
This is mostly a reminder that it’s okay to ask for help when you need it. Thank you if you read this far. Thank you if you recognize the human in me.
