Alo is a bit over a year old and has already made a huge impact on my life. I regularly help my local humane society by fostering kittens, and Alo was one of the kittens I took in. I quickly fell in love with her sweet and loving personality, and she became a permanent part of my family.

Recently, Alo developed what the vet calls a polyp on her left ear. After taking her to multiple vets for their expert opinions, it became clear that surgery is the only option. Unfortunately, this surgery means Alo will lose her hearing in that ear. Despite this, the vets are confident that, because she is so young, she will adapt quickly and bounce back to her playful, happy self.

The cost of Alo’s surgery is more than I can manage on my own, but a local animal rescue has generously offered to help with part of the expenses. I am reaching out to my community for help covering the remaining costs. I am also willing to travel if there is a vet who can help with this case, and I can offer volunteer hours in return. The funds raised will go directly to Alo’s surgery and help her recover so she can continue living a normal, joyful life.
