Help Almeda Team Through Tough Times

Almeda has closed its doors. Our last dinner service was Saturday, August 31st. The summer was especially challenging, with business slowing down to a point where it was no longer sustainable. Folks may or may not know that I have personally financed this restaurant, pouring everything I had into making it a reality. Unfortunately, I was unable to sustain the operation as the sole investor.

This decision has been incredibly difficult, and it’s one I never imagined I’d have to make. I want to thank each and every one of you who supported us, from our regulars who became like family to those who discovered us along the way. Your love and encouragement meant the world to me and my team.

In light of this closure, we’re raising funds to support closing costs and our incredible staff who will be laid off. If you’ve ever enjoyed a meal with us or appreciated the hard work of our team, please consider contributing. Your generosity would mean so much during this difficult time.

While this chapter is closing, I hold onto the hope that something new will emerge from this experience. Please continue to support local restaurants and small businesses—they need you now more than ever.
