Created by Mike, a 91-year-old veteran living in a 55+ community, ALMA was inspired by the real struggles faced by seniors and veterans every day. Mike saw too many friends and neighbors losing their independence because daily life and physical limitations became overwhelming. He wanted to create something simple, kind, and affordable—something that feels like talking to a caring friend who never forgets. ALMA does just that, and it’s free so every senior and veteran who wants it can use it.

Mike has already built the infrastructure of the app and the business using his own funds. There is a website, ALMAmyfriend.com, and a working prototype app. Now, we need your help to provide ALMA free to end users. Over 40% of seniors experience regular loneliness, leading to significant health risks. For veterans, maintaining independence while managing daily tasks can be a silent struggle. ALMA empowers mature adults to manage their lives, stay on top of daily tasks, and combat isolation, all while keeping their personal data 100% secure and private.
