Hi, we are the Weber and the Siman Tov family, and we are raising donations for 15 year old Alma Aliza Siman Tov, the daughter of Dalit Weber and David Siman Tov, who has been fighting a severe cancer for three years, which became metastatic over the past year.
The donations are intended to fund Alma’s ongoing medical care, treatments in Israel, medications, medical and rehabilitation equipment, therapies to alleviate the damage caused by aggressive treatments, home hospitalization medical devices that will allow Alma to stay at home with her family, and the implementation of treatments abroad (which also require medical flights and additional expenses).

Meet 15 year old Alma Aliza Siman Tov — our beloved daughter, granddaughter, niece, and cousin — who has been fighting a severe cancer for three years, which became metastatic in the past year.
Alma is a sweet, joyful girl. Today she is 15 years old, and when she was diagnosed in October 2022, she was only 12.
Back then, she loved dancing, creating TikTok choreographies (since the cancer was discovered, she has been paralyzed from the waist down), playing Monopoly with her grandmother, experimenting with makeup, and studying mathematics — her favorite subject. She has a big heart and always helped at home with a smile.
In October 2022, during her Bat Mitzvah trip with her mother and classmates, after a long day of walking and activities, Alma suddenly collapsed to her knees and could not stand up.
Her mother took her to the local hospital, from where she was transferred to Schneider Children’s Medical Center in Petah Tikva, where she was diagnosed with neuroblastoma — a rare and aggressive childhood cancer.
That same day, Alma underwent urgent surgery in an attempt to help her walk again, but sadly she was left paralyzed from the waist down. The days that followed became a whirlwind of tests, treatments, scans, prayers, and uncertainty.
Alma’s cancer is aggressive and requires intensive and ongoing treatment. Over the past three years, she has undergone multiple rounds of chemotherapy and long hospitalizations.
Unfortunately, the cancer has become metastatic, and over the past year her condition has worsened.
The family is now searching for advanced treatments abroad in hopes of giving her another chance.
David works as much as he can, and Dalit, Alma’s mother, stays by her side throughout this journey. The family also has three other children at home — Daniel Mordechai (16), Eliav Isaac (12), and Elian Leah (11) — making the reality incredibly complex.
Due to the long hospitalizations and the complex medical condition, there is a constant need for medical equipment, medications, and rehabilitation treatments — including coping with paralysis in her legs and the damage caused by aggressive treatments.

Les presentamos a Alma Aliza Siman Tov, nuestra querida hija, nieta, sobrina y prima, quien ha estado luchando durante tres años contra un cáncer grave que se volvió metastásico en el último año.
Alma es una niña dulce y llena de alegría. Hoy tiene 15 años, y cuando fue diagnosticada en octubre de 2022, tenía solo 12. En ese entonces le encantaba bailar, crear coreografías para TikTok (desde que se descubrió el cáncer está paralizada de la cintura hacia abajo), jugar Monopoly con su abuela, experimentar con maquillaje y estudiar matemáticas, su materia favorita. Tiene un corazón enorme y siempre ayudaba en casa con una sonrisa.
En octubre de 2022, durante su viaje de Bat Mitzvá con su madre y sus compañeras de clase, después de un largo día de caminatas y actividades, Alma colapsó de repente sobre sus rodillas y no pudo levantarse.
Su madre la llevó al hospital local y de allí fue trasladada al Centro Médico Infantil Schneider en Petaj Tikva, donde fue diagnosticada con neuroblastoma, un tipo raro y agresivo de cáncer infantil.
Ese mismo día, Alma fue sometida a una cirugía urgente con la esperanza de ayudarla a volver a caminar, pero lamentablemente quedó paralizada de la cintura hacia abajo. Los días siguientes se convirtieron en una vorágine de exámenes, tratamientos, estudios, oraciones e incertidumbre.
El cáncer de Alma es agresivo y requiere tratamientos intensivos y continuos. Durante los últimos tres años ha pasado por múltiples ciclos de quimioterapia y hospitalizaciones prolongadas.
Lamentablemente, el cáncer se volvió metastásico y en el último año su estado ha empeorado. Actualmente la familia busca tratamientos avanzados en el extranjero con la esperanza de darle una nueva oportunidad.
David trabaja todo lo que puede, y Dalit, la madre de Alma, permanece a su lado en cada paso del camino. La familia también tiene otros tres hijos en casa — Daniel Mordejai (16), Eliav Isaac (12) y Elian Leah (11) — lo que hace que la situación sea muy compleja.

תכירו את אלמה עליזה סימן טוב בתנו, נכדתנו, אחייניתנו ובת דודתנו האהובה, שנלחמת כבר שלוש שנים בסרטן קשה שנהפך גרורתי בשנה האחרונה.
אלמה היא ילדה מתוקה ומלאת שמחת חיים. כיום היא בת 15, ובזמן האבחון באוקטובר 2022 הייתה רק בת 12. אז היא אהבה מאוד לרקוד, לעשות כוריאוגרפיות לטיקטוק (מאז שגילו את הסרטן היא משותקת מהמותן ומטה), לשחק מונופול עם סבתא שלה, לשחק באיפור וללמוד מתמטיקה – המקצוע האהוב עליה. יש לה לב גדול והיא תמיד עזרה בבית עם חיוך על הפנים.
באוקטובר 2022, במהלך טיול בת המצווה שלה עם אמה וחברותיה לכיתה, אחרי יום ארוך של הליכה ופעילות, אלמה התמוטטה לפתע על ברכיה ולא הצליחה לקום.
אמה לקחה אותה לבית החולים המקומי ומשם היא הועברה למרכז שניידר לרפואת ילדים בפתח תקווה, שם אובחנה עם נוירובלסטומה – סוג נדיר ואגרסיבי של סרטן ילדים.
עוד באותו היום עברה אלמה ניתוח דחוף במטרה לעזור לה לחזור ללכת, אך לצערנו היא נותרה עם שיתוק מהמותניים ומטה. הימים שלאחר מכן הפכו למערבולת של בדיקות, טיפולים, סריקות, תפילות וחוסר ודאות.
הסרטן של אלמה אגרסיבי ודורש טיפולים אינטנסיביים ומתמשכים. במהלך שלוש השנים האחרונות היא עברה סבבים שונים של כימותרפיה ואשפוזים ממושכים בבתי חולים.
לצערנו, הסרטן שלה נהפך גרורתי ובשנה האחרונה חלה החמרה במצבה. כיום המשפחה מחפשת עבורה טיפולים מתקדמים בחו״ל בתקווה להעניק לה סיכוי נוסף.
דוד (אביה) נאלץ לעבוד ככל יכולתו ודלית, אמה של אלמה, נמצאת לצידה לאורך כל הדרך, אך למשפחה יש עוד שלושה ילדים בבית - דניאל מרדכי, בן 16, אליאב איזק, בן 12 ואליאן לאה, בת 11, ולכן המציאות מורכבת מאוד.
