On behalf of the Knopik family, we have decided to create this page to help cover medical and travel expenses during this difficult time.

Allyson Knopik is a 27 year old, who is loving, caring, funny, and a friend of many. After numerous doctor appointments and scans, Ally was unfortunately diagnosed with an intramedullary cervical spinal cord tumor.

The tumor is affecting her ability to complete daily activities due to the pressure it is putting on multiple nerves. With this affecting her mobility, she unfortunately hasn't been able to work since December 20th, 2021 and won't be able to return to work for a minimum of 4 months after surgery and depending on how she recovers.

Ally's surgery and her long road to recovery will be taking place in Milwaukee, WI and will consist of multiple months of rehabilitation along with daily radiation appointments. Being that her family lives in Marinette, WI, travel and lodging expenses are going to add up quickly, along with the medical bills.

With that all being said, Ally will have to relearn how to function as she did before this tumor started affecting her body. It's hard to anticipate what the Knopik family is going to endure during this difficult journey but we all know that any help, support, and most importantly prayers for a great outcome are needed most.

A tentative surgery date to remove the tumor is set for February 1st, 2022 and I will be updating this page with any new information as it is given.
