On July 18th, Ally’s world changed forever. Her husband, Brian, passed away unexpectedly in his sleep at just 35 years old. That very same day, Ally went into labor.

Now, Ally is a single mother of three young children: a newborn baby girl, a son who just turned two, and a four-year-old daughter.

Brian was a devoted husband, incredibly proud father, loving son, brother, teacher and friend. He is survived by his wife Ally, their three children, his parents, and his sister, as well as Ally’s family, who loved him deeply and are heartbroken by this loss. Together, their families are leaning on one another and grieving the sudden loss of a man who meant so much to so many.

Brian was a passionate educator in the Tustin Unified School District, where he served as both a high school teacher and an administrator. He loved teaching and helping students reach their full potential. He was especially known as a college admissions expert, helping pave the way for countless students to pursue higher education with confidence and purpose.

Outside of work, Brian truly loved life. He was the life of the party—always full of energy, laughter, and warmth. He thrived on building meaningful relationships and was endlessly devoted to his wife, children, family, and friends. He was always the first offer a helping hand and never hesitated to show up for the people he loved.

He also had a fiercely competitive spirit and a passion for all things sports. He especially loved golf, swimming, tennis, pickleball, and staying active. Whether in the classroom, at home, or out on the course, Brian brought heart and determination to everything he did.

Ally is a cherished transitional kindergarten teacher in the Saddleback Valley Unified School District. She is a loving mother, daughter, sister, friend, and educator who has shown incredible strength in this unimaginable time. But while she is strong, she shouldn’t have to face this alone.
