Help Ally to get his A-Level Education

Ally´s Story

My full name is Ally J. Mshana; I was born 1994 in Kilimanjaro region and raised by my father. Although I successfully completed my primary education in 2010 I was not able to join my secondary school because my father could not send me to it due the difficulties of life including serious sickness of my father (he suffered from chest ache and heart problems). I then had to find a job so I can get money in order to help my father because he was not able to perform any work. I therefore had to fulfil his responsibilities although I was very young and should go to school.

Then one day I got a phone call from someone telling me that I had to move from my village to town to find me a job for working so I can get money to help my father. I then moved from village to town as the guy told me but after arriving in town I found myself alone because the person who asked me to come in town was not there to pick me up. For the following months I remember I was sleeping wherever the night caught me and for security all I could do was pray to God.

After I suffered a lot what I remember one day on my way looking for a job I found some of advertisement of Kyosei Training Centre (KTC). Because my dream was to continue with studies I decided to find them. What I thanked to my God they invited me in October 2015 and provided me with free education in English, Math and General Studies. Since then I am living at the house of Steven, who is the founder of KTC, together with other students and volunteers.

Now it is my ambition to finally finish my secondary education and graduate on A-Level so I can study at a university and become a teacher in future.

Why Donate?

Unfortunately, Ally wont be able to attend secondary school without financial support because his family doesnt have enough money to pay it. Here are the costs that will occur for his 2 years of A-Level education:

Student Fee 1st Year: 1.500.000 TZS
Student Fee 2nd Year: 1.700.000 TZS
Accommodation & Food: 50.000/per month = 1.200.000 TZS
Total: 4.400.000 TZS = 1.710€ = 1915$

At Kysoei Training Centre (KTC) Ally has always been the best performing student, highly motivated, reliable and very aware of the positive impact a good education will have on his life. His ambition is to attend university after he completes his A-Levels in order to become a teacher in Tanzania. That way, and by teaching the next generation of students at KTC, Ally wants to give back what was given to him.

Ally´s Geschichte

Mein Name ist Ally J. Mshana; I wurde 1994 in der Kilimanjaro Region geboren und wurde von meinem Vater aufgezogen. Nachdem ich erfolgreich meine erste Schule (Grundschule) absolviert habe konnte mein Vater mich leider nicht auf die weiterführende Schule schicken, da er an einer ernsthaften Herzkrankheit litt und sich nicht allein versorgen konnte. Um Geld für meinen arbeitsunfähigen Vater zu verdienen musste ich mir also schon früh einen Job suchen und trug seine Verantwortungen.

Eines Tages bekam ich einen Anruf von jemanden, der mir einen Job außerhalb meines Dorfes in der Stadt Arusha anbot. Also ich daraufhin alleine in die Stadt zog war diese Person nicht mehr aufzufinden und ich war auf mich allein gestellt. Da ich mir die Rückfahrt zu meinem Vater nicht leisten konnte schlief ich also die nächsten Monate auf der Straße.

Während meiner Suche nach einem Job stieß ich dann auf eine Anzeige des Kyosei Training Centre (KTC), eine Schule für unprivilegierte Kinder und Jugendliche. Gottseidank nahm mich das KTC in 2015 auf und stellt mir seitdem kostenlosen Unterricht in Englisch, Mathe und anderen Fächern bereit. Während der letzten 4 Jahre habe ich es durch viel Disziplin geschafft mich für das tansanische Abitur zu qualifizieren. Mein Ziel ist es die Abiturprüfungen zu bestehen und an einer Universität zu studieren um später Lehrer zu werden.

Die notwendigen 2 Jahre an einer weiterführenden Schule, um mein Abitur zu absolvieren, werde ich mir jedoch niemals ohne externe Unterstützung leisten können.

Warum spenden?

Da Ally oder seine Familie leider nicht die finanziellen Mittel haben um ihm 2 Jahre auf einer weiterführenden Schule zu ermöglichen ist er auf diese Crowdfunding Kampagne angewiesen.

Hier die Kosten für 2 Jahre Schule:

Schulgebühr 1. Jahr: 580€
Schulgebühr 2. Jahr: 650€
Unterkunft & Verpflegung: 20€/Monat = 480€
Gesamt: ca. 1710€

Im Kyosei Training Centre (KTC) war Ally stets ein Schüler mit Bestleistungen, der motiviert, diszipliniert und sehr verlässlich für seine eigene Bildung gearbeitet hat. Ally ist sehr bewusst welchen positiven Einfluss gute Bildung auf sein Leben und das Leben anderer haben kann und will auch deswegen Lehrer werden.
