It breaks my heart to say it out loud... My best friend, Ally Osborne, was just diagnosed with thyroid CANCER.
When she told me, with tears in her eyes, her main concern was not for her own health, but how she was going to be able to afford the time off of work. How was she going to pay her rent, bills, expenses and food? How was she going to get the surgery needed to help save her life and also pay what her insurance would not cover? She has always been a steadfast realist, even in the darkest time of her life. I admire her strength. Ally has worked the majority of her life in veterinary medicine. She tiredly works day in and day out saving people’s furry family members with passion, care and conviction. Her work ethic is unmatched. She’s a thoughtful, smart, caring, truthful, honorable, beautiful human being who would NEVER ask for help. She is extremely independent and relies on no one to take care of her but herself. With her reluctant permission, I am reaching out to to the public for help to give her a leg up during this difficult time. My goal is to help her gather enough funds to have a months rent, bills, food, expenses, copays, deductible and medication taken care of while she gets surgery and recovers. Id like to help take off as much stress as possible for her so that she can remain positive and concentrate on her health. We are awaiting word from her oncologist on the next steps and will keep you all posted on her journey. Surgery needs to be done as soon as she can have it so that’s why we need to start this fundraiser right away. I know you hear this all the time but seriously, ANY AMOUNT HELPS.
