Help Ally & Jenn bring their pilot script "Audacity" to life

About the Project:

Audacity is a half-hour comedic pilot script conceptualized and written by Ally Brainard and Jenn Fernald. A labor of love, that we have poured our hearts into for the past four years, Audacity tells our origin story as best friends and creatives trying to get by in LA's competitive film industry. As we begin to seek development opportunities for our series, we are embarking on filming a proof of concept - a mini version of our pilot script - to highlight what makes this story unique, memorable, and worthy of your favorite cable network or streamer.

Our modest budget of $5,000 will enable us to secure filming locations, and aid in paying for crew, post-production, and other costly production expenses. At the end of this undertaking, we will have a fun, mini pilot episode to share with our friends, family, and generous donors -- and hopefully, some real opportunities for future development!

About Us:

Films by Circe is a production company devoted to dismantling the male gaze one vision at a time. Formed in Los Angeles in 2019 by female filmmaking duo Allyson Brainard-Smith and Jenn Fernald, they have written, produced, and released twelve short films and sketches that reformulate the female narrative while empowering collaborators and viewers alike.
