Ally Eldridge owns and operates Fancy Feet Pet Grooming. Along with her sister, Summer, they have worked hard to build a local pet grooming business in rural Jonesville, Virginia. When an agency outside of the community called on them to board a very large dog because a domestic violence victim had no other means, they said yes when they could have easily said no. They were told the dog was kennel trained, which was not the case. They were also assured that the dog was not aggressive. While cleaning the 80-pound dog's kennel, Summer was first attacked by the dog. When Ally attempted to help her sister, the dog turned on her, repeatedly biting her over 50 times. After more than 25 minutes, with the dog still mauling Ally, they were able to slide on the floor to a door and separate the dog into a different room. This unfortunate event resulted in an Emergency Room visit, multiple stitches, puncture wound care, as well as wound care for the deep scratches over Ally's body. While they are healing, their business will be temporarily closed. This fundraiser is for the purpose to help cover their hospital bills, doctor bills, immediate business, and living expenses while they are closed.
