Hey y’all.

So, a few weeks ago, my dad ended up in the hospital, and I took time off work to be with him every day. After a stint in the ICU, he passed away. I’ve been taking some time since then to grieve, take care of what needed to be done, and just try to get through it all.

Because I was out of work for most of July, I’m struggling to cover my bills for August — rent, utilities, groceries, the basics. My full-time job starts back in two weeks, and once that happens I’ll be okay financially, but I’m just not quite there yet.
