Help Allo Be Independent

Allo is a Queer Indigenous-Jewish land tender, healer, activist, and supportive community member.

They have been unhoused since May, and are needing a warm, safe place to be for the winter months— or ideally are searching for a long term housing situation to call their own (think trailer/airstream/tiny home).
They are immunocompromised, and were forced to leave their career in health care at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. Since then, Allo’s (many) doctors have tried 5+ different immune-suppressive drugs on them, with much pain and few gains thus far. Allo has still been volunteering, going to school & apprenticeships, supporting their community and working hard to make a career pivot in the midst of all of this. They are still optimistic about healing, but are needing a safe place to heal.

Allo has a history of childhood homelessness and exploitation by institutions and individuals who were meant to protect them. They are asking community members who have the means to please support them in purchasing a small, travel home- so they can continue to travel, learn, and be able to see loved ones in a safe way. They are seeking independence and safety to heal and bloom into the person they want to be. They are still masking and have still been mostly isolated since 2020.

-We don’t heal in isolation.

-The American dream isn’t real- but your body keeping the score? Yeah— that shits real for sure lol.

-My community has always been my greatest buffer, my honest reflection, my course corrector, and always will be my greatest love.
