Help Allissa Fight Cancer — and Keep Her Family Afloat

Allissa is one of the strongest people I know — but right now, she shouldn’t have to be strong alone.

As a child, Allissa bravely fought astrocytoma and won. Now, years later, at the young age of THIRTY, the cancer has returned — this time on her spinal cord, wrapping around critical nerves and robbing her of strength in her legs. Simple things like standing, walking, and caring for her children have become incredibly difficult.

She is currently undergoing intensive inpatient radiation treatment. Doctors are hopeful it may restore some function, but there are no guarantees. What is certain is that Allissa has already been unable to work since January and will remain out for at least six more weeks — with medical bills, rent, utilities, and daily expenses continuing to pile up.

Allissa is also a devoted mom to two children who depend on her for everything. Right now, her focus needs to be on healing — not on whether her electricity will be shut off or how groceries will be paid for.

This fundraiser exists to give Allissa breathing room — to cover:

• Rent and utilities

• Medical expenses

• Transportation and basic living needs

• Support for her children while she’s in treatment
