I’m Allison, and I’m creating this fundraiser for myself and my family as we continue fighting my stage 4 breast cancer. I was diagnosed almost two years ago, and since then our lives have been centered around ongoing treatment, including chemo, radiation, and everything that comes with them. We are a hardworking family, and asking for help does not come easily. But after nearly two years of treatment, the bills have piled up beyond what we can manage on our own. I now have about $20,000 in medical bills in collections, and while I make payments on the ones I can afford, the rest are simply too much for me to keep up with.

On top of the medical debt, the time I’ve had to miss for treatments has reduced my income by about $10,000 last year, and the same is continuing this year. At the same time, Seth and I are doing our best to support his two children, who are my soon-to-be stepchildren, while also keeping up with everyday household expenses. The need is ongoing, because treatment-related costs, medical bills, and lost income continue month after month.
