Help Allison, single mother with terminal cancer

Allison is a single mother with terminal cancer who has been given a 6 month evacuation notice. 

Allison first battled breast cancer in 2010. Treatment was successful. She divorced and relocated her young son and herself to Port Moody for a fresh start.

She had a job at SFU and was making a new life here when the cancer returned. This time is spread to her lungs, brain and internal organs.

Allison has been fighting valiantly for three years now riding out various treatments.

She is trying to stay positive and enjoy her time with her fifteen year old son. She is unable to work and is on a tight, fixed income.

She recently received word that her landlord is intending to tear down the house she currently rents a basement suite in to build a new house.

She must find a new place for herself, her son and their two dogs on a shoestring budget.

I know Allison to be an intelligent, hard working and caring mom. I can’t imagine shouldering the burden that she has for these years.

As a mom I ask you to consider supporting this family in their time of need. Together we can make a real difference in the time they have left.
