My name is Allison. I'm a single working mom in recovery. I have a 10-month-old little boy named Onyx, and he's the sweetest, most perfect little man. I often struggle on weekends when daycare isn't open to find stable care for Onyx during the hours I have to work. I've found a great nanny in my area, and I'm asking for help with funds to pay for her services, as I'm working towards buying a vehicle in the next few months as well as dealing with the day-to-day costs of having a baby and rent. I currently get no child support and am working solely with what I make. Every day I'm able to work makes a huge difference in the lives of me and my son. She's asking $50 a day (Saturday & Sunday), and I figure I'll need help with her services for 6 months. After that, I should be able to take on her costs myself and be more self-sustainable, with a vehicle of my own. My goal is to raise $2,500 for 6 months of weekend childcare, which will allow me to work towards my ultimate independence!
