Allison was diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast cancer in July of 2020. She stared Chemotherapy in August and was little to no success in treating the breast cancer. She was then moved to radiation, and during that time she started losing vision in her left eye. After going to the eye doctor in November of 2020, it was diagnosed that the cancer has moved into her left eye and into her brain. With success in radiation to her right breast, they had her continue radiation but to her eye and brain. As the months progressed, she was put back onto Chemotherapy to clear up any remaining cancer in her system. The Chemotherapy only worked for a short time before it was shown in her CT scan (in February of 2021) that her cancer has spread to her liver, her spine, and her lungs. After a short hospital visit, she started losing the ability to walk. A week later she was sent back to the hospital after several falls. Allison was then sent to a rehab to get stronger only to come back weaker than ever. While in the rehab, she had acquired an UTI due and to her low immune system. She was unresponsive, and was rushed to the ER and placed in the Step-Down unit. Due to the state of her health, she can no longer accept or have anymore treatments.
Allison is a strong willed woman and a loving mother of 4 young adults ranging from ages 20-23. She always lights up any room that she walks into. Always making new friends and acquaintances wherever she goes. You could often hear her laugh from the other side of a grocery store. She made habits out of crocheting and baking. Always gifting her creations to friends and family. She never hesitated to help anyone that needed it. Things have been quite difficult over the past year and her and her family could use all the help they can get.
