Help Allison Grasso In Her Recovery

Hello everyone. It is with great hesitation we share the news of Allison J. Grasso. On July 3rd  she suffered a severe brain hemorrhage, caused by an aneurysm which ruptured in her head. She is currently stable in the Neuroscience ICU located at The Medical University of South Carolina, in Charleston. This happened while on vacation in Myrtle Beach where she was rushed to a nearby hospital and an emergency procedure was performed to stop the bleeding and mitigate the swelling of her brain. These past two weeks have all been a blur and we find ourselves still in disbelief. There is no telling what the recovery is going to look like, only that this is a long, long road with no clear path forward. The part of her brain that was affected will require extensive inpatient therapy consisting of physical, speech and occupational sessions, likely lasting a year or more and inevitably for the foreseeable future. We are hoping that this will help ease the extensive costs for transportation home, hospital bills and therapy. We don't expect anything from anyone, although we will at least ask for your prayers and positivity to help us continue this journey. Hope is not lost, we will continue to count on each other to make us laugh when we cry, give hope when seemingly all is lost and comfort when we feel alone. God bless you all and thank you.
