Hi my name is Bobbi Jo, Allison’s mother, and I am asking for your help to get Allison a power wheelchair like the one in this picture. Medical professionals and Physical Therapists agree that a Sit-To-Stand Power Wheelchair will not only allow Allison to do things independently but more importantly, help her avoid or limit medical complications in the future that come with her medical condition. With that said, Allison’s insurance company is not going to pay for the standing equipment part of this chair because it is not in her medical plan! The insurance company is also not paying for any needed repairs to her current wheelchair as it has reached its estimated life time. The urgency to get Allison into this chair is now as she is a growing girl who is very limited and with my own medical issues I too am becoming very limited in how I can help her!
