Help Allison Foote in her fight against cancer

After months of pain, tests, questions, multiple ER visits, uncomfortable symptoms, worry, and discomfort, our dear friend and loved one, Allison Foote - yes, Footey/Ally/Re-Re, the supermodel girl with the potty mouth who would (and, if you know her well, she probably has!) give you the shirt off her back or her last dollar - has been diagnosed with a rare form of cancer that is difficult to diagnose and treat, called Small Cell Neuroendocrine cancer, in her GI tract. She began her first round of chemo this week and is in the hospital now to help manage her debilitating pain. She has lost a lot of weight and is severely weakened from the pain and her inability to eat, and she still has a huge fight on her hands to beat this crippling disease.  She has been hospitalized several times over the last few months, often for a week or more at a time, while the doctors in the Marietta, GA area have helped her manage her symptoms and her pain and finally get her diagnosed and begin treatment. She will soon have to travel to Houston, Texas to the MD Anderson Cancer Treatment Center, as they are the closest specialists in the country who have experience with her specific and rare form of cancer, to continue her treatment and evaluation. She has insurance coverage, thankfully, but there are mounting hospital bills that require out of pocket payments, as well as expensive drugs that she needs, that are going to be more than she can handle. Allison is a single mom with two young kids in school, works part time in her family's business, and her father just passed away a few months ago so she is spent emotionally, physically, and financially. We humbly ask for any financial help you can give her (and if you know her, you know she HATES asking for help! She's much more comfortable being the one GIVING the help) so she can get the best care possible to help her beat this disease.  She will need help paying for chemo, pain medicine, extended hospital stays, travel to Houston from Atlanta possibly several times, plus costs while in Houston including hospital/hotel, food, etc., in-home health care/nursing services as she cannot care for herself or be alone at home in this condition, help covering her mortgage and insurance payments, and help with her children and pets. This is a life threatening condition, but she is fighting with everything she has so she can keep being a mother to her kids.  Please help so she can focus on her healing and recovery. Thank you!! <3
