Hello all,

I started this page to support my dear friend, Allison (Al) Harlos. Al has been sick with chronic illness and symptoms for many, many years. After countless doctors, testing, and fighting for answers, she was finally diagnosed with Lyme disease in 2020. Since then, she has gone through years of treatment locally, but despite following their protocols, she continues to suffer with debilitating symptoms.

Through much prayer and consideration, Al has decided to pursue intensive Lyme treatment in Florida for 6-12 weeks starting in November. She will receive personalized treatments that will attack the Lyme and other infections in her body. Of course, this comes with significant financial cost which is where we can help! Insurance doesn’t cover any of the treatment and Al is also paying for flights, housing and a rental car during her treatment. Through her illness, she has miraculously continued to work as a registered nurse in Colorado Springs, but will obviously not be working while in Florida during treatment.

Through all of her physical pain and suffering, Al has continued to persevere, serve, and love others locally and globally over the years. As a nurse, Al has worked as a missionary for Mercy Ships and Samaritan’s Purse caring for critically ill and vulnerable populations. I know she longs to be healthy again so she can impact the world for Christ.

If you know Al, it’s obvious that she is one of the most selfless, giving, and compassionate people you’ve met. She is quick to sacrifice herself for others just as Jesus would. She has served all of those she knows in big and small ways and now it’s our turn to help her! Let’s help Al heal so she can get back to serving and loving others to her greatest capacity as God has called her to do!
