Help Allison Fight FAVA!!!

Donation protected
Allison Redondo-Lugo is a nurse who has dedicated her life mission to helping others.  After 32 years of leg pain she finally advocated for herself and found her diagnosis was a rare congenital disease that very few people in the world can treat effectively.  Her disease is called FAVA, which stands for Fibro-adipose vascular anomaly.  It's a painful vascular anomaly in which a significant portion of her left calf has been taken over by tough, fibrous, fatty tissue. In addition to muscle tissue changes, FAVA can also cause abnormalities in the veins or lymphatic vessels.
Allison has sought out experts from both sides of the United States and she will be having her affected muscles removed Spring of 2021 at Boston Children's Hospital (BCH).  BCH is the leading hospital on this condition.
It is uncertain on the length of her recovery.  Some have returned to work/school in 3-5 months or so post surgery.   The funds generated will help with her deductible, travel, and her recovery.  Unfortunately she has no short-term disability or other benefits at this time. She has been in school the last 3 years facing other physical ailments. She has had hip surgery with labral repair,  arm and hand surgery, migraine treatments, and tons of physical therapy so her employment has not been steady.
Her husband is a retired 100% disabled Veteran who is unable to work.  They have two sons, 2 and 4 years old.  I live 2 doors down and my girls are growing up with their boys.  This family never thinks twice about helping us or any other neighbor in our community.  They are always there and would rather be on the other side of this donation.  I know it won't take long for them to be on the giving side again.
Allison is a strong believer in Christ and his healing ministries. She also has full confidence in God's care and provisions.
We appreciate donations of any amount and will put anything left towards a fund for other FAVA patients struggling to pay for treatment and travel.
Allison is featured on Novartis Oncology's Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram pages for National Rare Disease Awareness Day 2021.
Thank you for your donations and God Bless you!
Hebrews 6:10
"God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them."

The white marbled areas will be removed.
This is another patients FAVA below that was removed but over time grew back.
