Help Allison and Jamie Recover from Fire
Donation protected
My name is Colleen and have known Allison and Jamie for a long time. Allison and I met when I began teaching with her five years ago. She was the first person I met at my new school and immediately knew she was good people. Funnily, we discovered her husband and I went to high school together.
Allison is a special education teacher. She works tirelessly to support her students. She is humble, kind and never asks for a thing. Her students are a priority and she always makes sure they feel safe, supported and understood. Now is the time to make sure she and her husband feel that too.
Just a few days ago, my dear friends Allison and Jamie lost everything when their apartment building caught fire. They were thankfully able to recover their three pets and everyone was unharmed. Their possessions unfortunately are a total loss. No one expects the unimaginable to happen and this has been very difficult for them to say the least. Jamie is also currently unable to work since he was diagnosed with a heart condition. He has ongoing medical needs including necessary medication. So this tragedy is exceptionally challenging to say the least.
Due to being in temporary housing since the fire, both of their beloved dogs must be boarded. This will continue for potentially a month when they can move into a new apartment. Your donations will be used to cover the cost of replacing all of their belongings as well as the boarding and care of their dogs and cat, housing costs and other unexpected expenses due to the fire.
Please support my good friends as they rebuild their life. Thank you.
